Eleven full page miniatures of mediocre quality, all, except for that on f. 89v, on the versos of inserted singletons, blank on the rectos; the full borders, matched by those on the facing page usually of Italianate candelabras with putti, grotesques, and acanthus leaves; both the miniatures and the borders enclosed by rectangular gold frames.

Bound, s. XIX, by Joly who, on the back flyleaf i, signed his name below the lettered words "Joly, R. D. Ma dernière mosaïque Mai 1891"; binding of olive green morocco, with overall polygonal inlay of red morocco, stamped in gold with quadrifoils, tulips, daisies; vellum doublures; gilt edges; black morocco slipcase.
