This manuscript is a book of hours, Use of Coutances, probably made in Rouen in the third quarter of the fifteenth century. It is illuminated with five three-quarter page miniatures and floral borders in the calendar and on pages for major text divisions.

binding
S. XVIII French red morocco, triple gilt fillets on sides, elaborately gilt back, gilt edges. Pastedowns and endpapers are painted purple and decorated with a gold vine design. Stamped in gold on spine: "HEURES GOTHIQU".
