Florence. Written in Italy, in Florence. Saint Zanobius mentioned in calendar (feast 25/5) and litany (f. 121v) indicates, together with the style of the decoration, a florentine provenance. Commissioned by: Member of the Corsini family, original heraldry on fol 13r. Since the Transfiguration is mentioned in the Calendar it must be written after 1457, when the feast was introduced. HBM written for use of Rome.
