Large penwork initials and penwork borders mark the main textual divisions. The book contains eight full-page miniatures in ink and colored wash, with limited gilding for the haloes. These miniatures are tipped-in and do not relate iconographically to the portions of the text that they introduce, and as such were likely produced separately. The miniatures on 61v, 87v, 125v, 134v, and 234v include explanatory tituli in Dutch.
