Invisto is a relational database created as part of my PhD research to document and analyze the Indochina legal deposit, which comprises approximately 12,000 non-periodical publications from 1922 to 1945. Data is extracted from the general catalogue of the Bibliothèque nationale de France (BnF), processed, and structured in Heurist to provide a comprehensive overview of printing and publishing in Romanized Vietnamese. By adhering to FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) principles, Invisto offers enriched and structured resources that enable the quantification and spatial analysis of the book trade, shedding light on the unprecedented rise in printed materials in colonial Cochinchina.
